Humor is a character strength that is connected with life pleasure and happiness. In a gold-standard study, this exercise boosted happiness and decreased depression in participants.
- At the end of the day, reflect on the funniest things you experienced during the day.
- Write about three funny things that happened to you during the day. Explain why these funny things occurred and describe your feelings in each instance.
- Complete this exercise each day this week.
