Write a letter of thanks to someone special!
This exercise might be one of the simplest and quickest ways to boost your happiness. At least once this week (but ideally more), take the time to write a letter to someone who has made an impact on your life.
- Think of someone who has had a positive influence on your life and you are grateful to, but you have not properly thanked.
- Write a letter to them describing your feelings and why you are grateful to them.
- Optional: If appropriate and plausible, deliver the letter to the person and consider reading it to them in their presence.
