Gratitude Letter

This exercise might be one of the simplest and quickest ways to boost your happiness.  At least once this week (but ideally more), take the time to write a letter to someone who has made an impact on your life.

  1. Think of someone who has had a positive influence on your life and you are grateful to, but you have not properly thanked.
  2. Write a letter to them describing your feelings and why you are grateful to them.
  3. Optional: If appropriate and plausible, deliver the letter to the person and consider reading it to them in their presence.
